MOURNING BELOVETH's fourth album, "A Disease for the Ages", was released earlier in the year. It is the group's first CD to feature bass player Brendan Roche. Recording sessions were held over two weeks at Studio E with Markus Stock at the helm.
Commented the band: "Sound-wise the album is similar to 'A Murderous Circus' but two extra guitar tracks this time has beefed the rhythm creating a huge wall of sound. Musically the songs are very direct and we have cut off the flab that appeared on 'A Murderous Circus'. Combining the organic feel of 'Dust' with the density of 'The Sullen Sulcus' and some of the experimentation of 'A Murderous Circus' along with an aggressive undertone only hinted at previously we feel we have come up with the sound track for our deconstruction."
